BRAZIL (2023)

Logline: “Cinzas da Floresta” (Ashes of the Forest) is a documentary feature, an art exhibition, and a vehicle in support of the volunteer firefighting brigades in Brazil all at once. The film follows street artist Mundano as he travels through a burning Brazil, collecting ashes from wildfires to create the paint used in his latest artwork, in the context of climate change in the Amazon. The project aims to promote art as activism, and to raise awareness about the importance of protecting forests and fighting fires today.
